How To Carry Out Keyword Research With Micro Niche Finder
by facebook on Mar.10, 2010, under SEO
If you are into micro niche site development, whether this be for AdSense or for affiliate products, Micro Niche Finder is an incredible keyword research tool that allows you to save a great deal of time.
Now we won’t go into every feature but what we will do is talk about how we specifically carry out keyword research using Micro Niche Finder.
Ok so firstly, we want to identify a niche, this is possibly one of the trickiest parts. What I’d suggest you do is to subscribe to services such as ‘Niche a Day’ or visit sites such as eBay or Amazon to see what kind of products are selling well, that is always a good starting point. Micro Niche Finder also has a button called ‘hot trends’ which extracts data directly from Google.
Once you have found a niche, it is advisable to start from a very generic keyword and filter this down to a highly targeted term. Simply click on a term and select the ‘narrow dig’ link. This will then bring up even more relevant terms that you want to search for. Just ensure that you check the option to bring back relevant results only as you want to laser target your niche.
To truly harness the power of MNF, the next thing to do is run the SOC (strength of competition) element which is the applications killer feature. Simultaneously, run the exact match facility and once all the data is returned, run the MOB indicator. Now like any software, it’s not going to give you the magic solution so you do have to do a bit of your own manual work but below are some ballpark figures you ideally want to focus on.
For your main keyword, target keywords over 2,500 monthly searches. This isn’t written in stone but it is a good indicator. All ‘inner pages’ that you want to develop ideally you want to look at over 800 searches per month. The higher the better. Now for quick wins, look at SOC values that are lower than 10 (ideally less than 5) and exact match phrases that are within the 10,000 range. I tend to go with an ‘exact match’ that is within 100 but these are like gold-dust to find. The measure of backlinks (MOB) will give you an idea approximately how many inbound links you need to rank on the first page of Google for that term. Once you have an idea or a shortlist, go into Google and do a search using quotes e.g. “your keyword here” and ascertain the PageRank of position 1 to 10. If they are all below 3 then this keyword will be quite simple to rank for, if the majority are over PR 4 then you may find it harder to rank for. Again this is not conclusive as Google does not disclose its ranking algorithm, but this is based purely on trial, error and personal experience.
Hopefully this overview will give you an idea of how to use micro Niche Finder and help you to identify those golden nuggets.

Implementing Organic SEO To Increase Site Traffic, Sales And Exposure For Your Business And Website
by facebook on Mar.10, 2010, under SEO
When it comes to the popularity of a website, there are two main components that contribute to its success. One of these would be the website content. The other would be links to the website from others around the internet. When the two are combined, they increase organic SEO to increase site traffic.
The question then arises as to what defines organic SEO. Organic SEO is the traffic to a site that is generated through links on other pages. It is created when people click the links and are thus directed to the website. However, there is a significant difference between good quality links and links that can get a site flagged by a search engine.
Some of the ways that a website owner can use organic SEO to increase site traffic include article submission. This means that a website owner can write articles containing pertinent keywords and then submit them to article directories. Some of the best article directories that articles can be submitted to are those that are referred to as “authoritative”. This means that they are sites that are highly ranked by search engines since they have ever changing content and many hits every day. Some of these sites include EzineArticles, HubPages, and Squidoo. When an article is read on one of these sites, a link to the writer’s site can generate organic SEO to increase site traffic.
Those are the types of sites in which linking back to a site is effective. However, there are also methods that are now being banned by major search engines. These include mass article submission and/or link submission to directories. When a website is first created, search engine spiders find it slightly more acceptable for many articles to be submitted to sites weekly. However, after some time, this activity becomes equated with spamming. Therefore the search engine bots may flag, or even ban a site from being accepted to their search engine results. More so, submitting a site to “link farms” fails at organic SEO in order to increase site traffic. This means that real people do not actually click the links. The links only accumulate in number and stagnate without being productive at all.
There are a few tips to keep in mind when writing articles to draw in organic SEO to increase site traffic. One of these would concern keywords. Some research may be required in order to determine what the most searched for terms are that pertain to the website. Also, check what top competitors have in terms of article information. There are different recommendations for how many times a keyword should appear in an article. Some say 3-5 times per 250 words, while others suggest 4-8 times per 400 words. Overall, a keyword density of 1-3 percent is optimal. Also, it is important to continue with article submission on a regular basis. This builds the strength of a backlink. Newer and well written articles great help to generate organic SEO to increase site traffic.
Furthermore, it is important to keep website content fresh and updated. Without this, the search engines would be more likely to ignore a site on the premise that it is old and has no significance. Overall, to generate organic SEO to increase site traffic, a website owner must put in the time and effort required. It is also important to remember that a website won’t get highly ranked overnight. Many times, it takes months or even a year in order to see results.

Search Engine Optimization For Massive Traffic
by facebook on Mar.10, 2010, under SEO
There are many different things that need to be considered whenever we are talking about optimizing our webpages for the search engines. Perhaps one of the most important things for you to understand is the fact that it is not always going to be necessary for you to hit a home run in order to get a lot of traffic. As a matter of fact, it is thought that up to 55% of all traffic that comes from search engines comes as a result of key phrases that are typed in one time only. It would be impossible for you to optimize for all of these key phrases individually, so you must do so collectively.
The way that you do this is by providing proper content on your webpages. Not only do you need to worry about the specific keywords that you’re trying to write for, you also must make sure that you are writing on topic, which will naturally provide your page with latent semantic keywords as well. These are key words that are not used by the search engines in order to help rank your pages for related words, they are also going to help drive additional traffic through words that you have not even tried to rank for in the first place.
That is why it is important for you to add additional content to your website regularly and to continue to do so without letup. Many people add content to the website for a period of time, and then either give up because they do not see instant traffic coming to their page or because they start to get traffic and think that they can rest from their work. The simple fact of the matter is, you must continually be posting content to the webpage in order to get continuous traffic to the webpage. Once you stop, the marketing stops and you will see a drop in the amount of people who are flowing to your page from search engines.
Another thing that is very important for any type of search engine optimization is the off page optimization. These are the incoming links to your website, and they can come from a variety of different locations. Perhaps some of the most popular types of incoming links are going to be from articles that you write and post the article directories. Many of these article directories will allow you to post a link, either in the content of your article or at the end of it which goes back to your website. The search engines love incoming links, provided they are naturally formed.
There are a number of other ways for you to get links into your website and build on what you have already established. If you make this a regular part of your marketing efforts, you will continue to rank for more and more keyword phrases and the traffic to your website will grow. Just remember, search engine optimization is an ongoing process and it is something that you must settle into doing for the long term. When you do so, the rewards will follow.
